02/01/2008 Phoenix Beard wins Dickens Heath management contract waterside from tow path Phoenix Beard’s asset management team has been awarded a three-year contract by Parkridge property development company, to manage the award winning Dickens Heath Village Centre in Solihull, West Midlands.
The independent Birmingham-based property consultants will manage all the residential and commercial property in the Village Centre, as well as coordinating security, cleaning, refuse collection and safety.
It will also be responsible for the strategic integration of over 200 new residential properties due to be built in the Village Centre over the next two years.
Phoenix Beard director Rod Witton said the team’s previous experience on mixed use developments would prove invaluable at Dickens Heath, commenting:
“We currently manage a similar scheme in London, The Colonnades, which incorporates 260 residential and commercial units. So we’re in a good position to share that knowledge here and make a tangible difference to the residents and businesses of Dickens Heath Village Centre.”
Paul Naish from Parkridge said it was critical to have the right management team on board, commenting:
“As well as having a responsibility to our residents and businesses to maintain the Village Centre to the highest possible standards, this is a flagship site for Parkridge. It’s therefore essential that the management team here has a track record of delivering real value – and we’re confident that’s what Phoenix Beard will do.”
